 The Importance of Cleansing the Colon

COLEMA BOARDS vs. Enemas

Enemas usually consist of a 2-quart bag and tubing.  The enema is administered in a lying-down or knee-chest position.  For evacuation, the tip is removed from the rectum and feces is expelled in the toilet.  The procedure is repeated as necessary beccaue only 2-quarts are used at a time.  One Colema is the equivalent of approximately 4-6 enemas.  Enemas tend to flush only the lower bowel.

The Colema Board is designed to flush the lower and upper colon with the ease of one-time insertion and continuous evacuations without removal of the tip.  All of this is accomplished  while lying comfortably on your back with your knees bent.  A 5-gallon bucket of water and/or solution is dispensed at will without getting off the Board to expel.  All evacutation material is directed into the toilet.  For best results, the procedure should not be hurried and may take up to 1 1/2 hours to irrigate the colon.
